AREC Educonsult
The 'Educonsult' in our name is our education arm: we take real environmental science into classrooms and make STEM learning accessible to young people in the UK and Nigeria.
Foundation and holiday STEM programmes covering maths, English, science and environmental studies, taught live by vetted AREC tutors.
Lessons built on real air-quality data, sensors and field campaigns, so learners work with the same evidence our researchers use.
Curriculum resources, lesson plans and CPD for schools that want to teach climate, air quality and sustainability with confidence.
Advisory for institutions and agencies designing environmental curricula, postgraduate research capability and lab practice.
School talks, clean-air awareness sessions and community projects across the UK and Nigeria, delivered with local partners.
Free and subsidised places so cost never decides who gets to learn science - supported by our volunteers and partners.
Educonsult programmes
Three programme strands run all year across the UK and Nigeria, from weekly classes for young learners to CPD for teachers and clean-air outreach in communities.

For learners
Live small-group classes in maths, English, science and environmental studies for primary and junior secondary learners, taught by vetted AREC tutors with recordings, homework and progress tracking in the Learning Portal.

For schools & teachers
We help schools teach climate, air quality and sustainability with confidence: ready-to-run lesson plans, practical experiments, assessment guidance and continuing professional development delivered in person or online.

For communities
Clean-air awareness sessions, school talks and community science projects run with local partners and volunteers, funded so that cost never decides who gets to learn science.
Our impact
Every programme is measured on what learners, teachers and communities can do afterwards, not on attendance alone.
Testimonials
Feedback from the people our education programmes are built for.
My daughter went from avoiding science homework to explaining particulate matter at the dinner table. The tutors make it practical and she never feels left behind.
Adaeze O.
Parent, Lagos
The AREC teacher sessions gave us experiments we can actually run with the equipment we have. Our pupils now collect their own air-quality readings each term.
Mr. Bassey E.
Science teacher, Abuja
Volunteering on the outreach programme showed me how research turns into something a community can use. It shaped the postgraduate route I chose.
